About Kovira
Practical CMDB and ITSM software, built for the way IT teams actually work
Kovira is a CMDB and ITSM platform for IT teams of 1 to 500 technicians: internal IT, sysadmins, IT consultants, and MSPs. One product that scales from a solo admin into a multi-workspace fleet, ITILv4-aligned, and ready to use in minutes rather than months.
Why Kovira exists
Most CMDB and ITSM software falls into two categories. On one side sit the spreadsheets and ad-hoc tools that small IT teams use because the alternative feels like overkill. On the other side sit the enterprise platforms that take months of consultancy to deploy and rebuild your workflow around their data model.
Kovira sits in the middle on purpose. It is the CMDB and ITSM platform we wanted while operating IT for organisations between those two extremes - small enough that an enterprise CMDB is the wrong shape, serious enough that a spreadsheet is no longer enough. The same product grows with the team into multi-workspace territory (including MSP-style multi-client setups) without a re-platform.
Everything in Kovira is built around the assumption that the CMDB has to be honest before anything else works. Incident triage, change reviews, impact analysis, and audit reporting all run against configuration data, so the configuration data has to reflect reality. That single assumption shapes the whole platform.
What we believe about CMDB and ITSM
Four positions that shape what Kovira is and is not.
One product, every team shape
A solo IT admin and a multi-workspace IT operation should not need different tools. Kovira ships as one product that scales from one technician to a full fleet (including MSPs running many client workspaces), so growing into the next stage is a plan change rather than a migration project.
ITILv4 in practice, not in theory
ITILv4 is a useful framework when the tooling reflects how the practices actually run. Kovira is structured around the ITILv4 practices that matter most for operating IT (Service Configuration, Change Enablement, Incident Management, IT Asset Management) rather than around a generic project management model with ITIL labels added later.
The CMDB is the foundation, not a side effect
Most ITSM tools treat the CMDB as a feature attached to the help desk. Kovira treats it as the foundation: typed configuration items, real relationship modelling, and continuous discovery feed every other surface in the platform - incidents, changes, workflows, audit, the lot.
Honest pricing, honest free tier
The free tier includes the full CMDB platform - VECTOR network discovery and ATLAS endpoint inventory included - with usage caps a solo IT admin can comfortably operate within. The paid tiers add capacity, not gated capability. There are no per-CI charges.

Where Kovira is built
Built in Australia. Pricing in AUD. Available worldwide.
Kovira is built in Australia by people who have run the IT operations this product is for. The decisions that shape the platform - what to ship, what to leave out, where to draw the line between scope and bloat - come from years of operating CMDBs, running ticketing systems, and watching enterprise tools fail to fit small and mid-sized teams. Customer data is hosted in Australia by default, with data residency in additional regions on the roadmap as customer demand reaches the threshold to justify a regional deployment.
Pricing is published in Australian dollars on the pricing page. There are no enterprise quotes, no negotiated contracts, no implementation partner fees in the budget by default. The platform is offered worldwide and customer support is available in English. Localisation into other languages is on the roadmap and will be driven by where customers are deploying Kovira.
Be first in line when Kovira launches
